Enjoy a trip through a cooperative-owned coffee farm, and learn about how the farmers fought for their fair share of money for the coffee they arduously cultivated and the results their work currently yields. Learn about each step, from seedlings of over 15,000 plants to the roasting of hundreds of kilos of coffee each day, and enjoy a cup of coffee in the best way Costa Rica has to offer with a traditionally brewed cafe chorreado.
This tour has some slight walking and though the guides try to make use of shade as much as possible, some areas are more exposed to the sun. The entire trip is done through paved paths, except for a small section that is goes through a bit of the farm. Some areas are more inclined and could be difficult for some people, but it is 100% doable if you take it slow.
